Your baby shower is a day you’ll never forget, so it’s critical to consider your options before choosing a setting for your special day. From a secluded paradise in the woods to elegant dining rooms alongside the lake, there are several Milwaukee baby shower venues to host your dream day.

4 Unique Milwaukee Baby Shower Venues

The Loft on the Lake

The Loft on the Lake is an excellent option if you’re searching for a lakeside venue. Located inside the Chiropractic & Wellness Building alongside Pewaukee Lake on the second level, the space provides incredible lake views for any event. Exposed brick walls and industrial pipes surround the loft; modern yet chic. The venue emphasizes its priority of providing affordable options for any occasion: the space costs $250 for three hours—which is also the minimum time slot—and $80 per hour after. However, renting the space on holidays and holiday weekends is more expensive.

The venue provides rectangular, round, and high-top cocktail tables. They note that they do not provide linens but have some available for rental. The elegant space in the Loft is climate-controlled, handicap accessible, and equipped with an audio sound system. They also have a kitchen prep area and on-site parking for guests. The Loft on the Lake has everything you could need to create a day you will never forget.

Lake Vista Park

Lake Vista Park also offers a large, beautiful space to host a shower alongside a lake. The venue includes an air-conditioned building, a pavilion with a kitchen, and a patio with picnic tables. If you are a resident of Oak Creek, the fees to rent the venue Monday through Thursday are $25 per hour with a four-hour minimum. Resident fees for renting the space Friday through Sunday, as well as holidays, are $475 per day. For non-residents, the fees for hosting your event for Monday through Thursday will cost $50 per hour with a four-hour minimum. Friday through Sunday, as well as holidays, cost $700 per day.

River Bend Nature Center

The River Bend Nature Center is the perfect place for nature lovers to celebrate the new journey you are about to embark on. The center runs alongside the Root River across 78 acres of wooded paradise. The venue has a playground, public restrooms, and a walking trail. The Main Lodge, Sam & Gene Johnson Pavilion, and Em’s Cabin are the facilities that are available for events, equipped with a full kitchen and restrooms. Em’s Cabin is a cozy, rustic meeting room with a fireplace that can host up to 34 people. The Main Lodge accommodates up to 130 people, while the Sam & Gene Johnson Pavilion can host 105 people with restrooms and a fire pit.

The rental fee includes:

  • The room during your time slot
  • ARiver Bend staff member for your event
  • Daytime hiking trail use
  • Photography locations
  • And parking

The center is owned by the county and operated without tax dollars by River Bend Nature Center, Inc. It is self-sustaining by private support, program revenue, special events, and equipment and facilities rentals. Most of the time, the River Bend Nature Center provides environmental education and outdoor recreation for Racine County children and families. The park hosts events to sustain and continue to provide education to the community. By having your shower here, you are not only celebrating in a beautiful space but supporting a treasured oasis and community space for generations to come.
